Note to Self?

If you want to be taken serious in any industry. Do not sleep with every rap star in the industry, write about it and then expect people to take you serious when you come up with a bright idea..... Oh yeah and answer to the nickname...superhead. Not going to happen.

Simplify your life

Look around your home, I'll give you a minute. If we take stock of all the "stuff" that we have, how do we have time for anything else. In these days in times, our worth is often measured by what we have. We work for flat screen tv's, Ipods, computers, PDA's with this kind of technology when do we have time to talk to one another, why talk when you could text..... We always wonder why families were stronger in the 50's-70's, they didnt have all this stuff. They ate breakfast and dinner together everyday, which sparks conversation and interaction. When you take this element out of family you suffer in detrimental ways. You lose control of whats going on in your kids life, they feel a disconnect to you and the relationship doesnt have the same bond. For one week could we not watch television, not get online, not use cell phones but do other activities that includes everyone in the family that requires interaction, physical acitivies, games ...actual talking?

Can we simplify our life......Is this possible? If you free up your life with some of the "stuff" you make room for more meaningful things..

Another one of my fav products!

Hi Lovelies, not sure if you guys have ever hear of Nairobi Hair products. I'd heard of these a few years ago, but had never tried them. I was trying to use up some of the stuff I already had and finally got around to trying the Relaxer. Now the relaxer was so to me, I'd seen better. I'll just stick to my Affirm for now until something comes along better. But baby, let me tell you.... the foam wrap is the bomb. It has to be the best on the market. I've tried a lot of foams, you have to have the foam in order for your hair to have that light and bouncy texture, but this one was the bomb. It gives the hair sheen and it keeps those roots tamed. You know how it is between that 4th and 6th week after a relaxer, feels like you need another one in some places, but it’s too soon to relax. Which is another thing, if you're perming your sooner than 6 weeks (at the very least), you're over processing. You're overlapping, over processing hair that’s already processed, and this is weakening your strands. That’s how you get breakage and thinning. Even though the new hair is growing in you want to wait until you have an apparent demarcation line.

So anyway, back to my product.... This product is great, I love it. I also like the Sheer shine spray too. Its very light and you only need a little, it doesn't weigh the hair down like your typical oil sheen. Everyone likes their hair to move, which is it should if it’s clean and not weighted down with a bunch of silicones (oil sheen).

Give it try...I’m sure you'll see a difference.

Sincere or Not

Have you guys seen this, do you thinks its sincere. Sounds like lawyers, CYA (Cover your Ass) talk to me. Mr.Brown just needs to move along.....give it a few years. What he did and so many others is inexcusable.

Retro-Chic Shampooing Potion

Everyone that knows me knows that I love my hair products. For my weekly shampoo this week, I had the pleasure of trying a new product, Retro-Chic Shampooing Potion, available at http://www.beautychoice.com/.
This product was developed by Joshua Bernard, a professional hair artist that teamed with two of the world’s leading molecular scientists to develop the industry’s first "Microcapsule Remediation System" for hair conditioning.

My hair is considered to be very thick, relaxed and shoulder length. I am very selective in the products that I use, especially shampoos because they often contain sulfates that tend to dry out the hair. This product actually was very moisturizing and left my hair feeling very clean without feeling stripped of natural oils, as shampoos can often do. I incorporated this into my regular routine of products and was very pleased with the results.

It lathered very well and rinsed without leaving any residue. It has the combined antioxidants of pomegranate extract, rosemary extract, and vitamin E succinate which make the scent and cleansing properties extremely beneficial to the hair.
A complete list of Retro Chic products are available at http://www.beautychoice.com/brands/retrochic-202-0-1.html.

Better on the other side!

I love this video, not only because I loved Mr. Jackson but because of the effort that the artist put in to make this happen on the exact same day that he passed away. That's love for an artist, that transcends what a person might have done, mistakes that he might have made, and all the naysayers and judgments of these mistakes... let hope and pray that he made it to the other side.

MJ

Look at the baby's eyes, how can anyone focus on the negative things MJ did and not sympathize for the ones he left behind. RIP Mr. Jackson...
