Our lady Angel!

I know I'm a little late on this one, but did you guys watch "Farrah's Story"? I have to tell you, that was one of the best documentaries I have ever seen. Farrah documents her battle from diagnosis to almost the end. She documented her hopes, her fears, the processes, the prognosis and never lost faith while doing so. Her type of cancer was such an invasive and painful sickness. She later sought nontraditional treatment in Germany, undergoing surgeries, that doctors at UCLA didn't think could be done. She was very adamant at accurately documenting exactly what cancer does to the body.

I must say, I remember the buzz that surrounded Farrah when she was a "Angel", she was one that all the women wanted to be like and all the men wanted. I am so grateful that she would change this image by documenting her fight with cancer. It shows the ugliness that is cancer, nothing is left out, her words" this is what cancer is". If you didnt get to see it, I truly suggest that you try to find it somewhere, its awesome. It was really put together exceptionally well.

Farrah lost her battle with cancer, as on June 25th, she passed away from anal cancer after a three year battle with the disease, she was 62 years of age.

Ms. Farrah Fawcett, she will be truly missed.......

Her story can be watched here..

4 teens charged as adults in locker room sexual assault case

Sad, Sad News. These were kids too.

http://www.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/06/04/florida.sexual.assault/index.html

Wow, can you imagine if they are sentenced to 120 year in prison? How does this happen? I cant help but sympathize for the victim. I know if it were my son, I'd be seeking the max.

This should be an example, parents need to start looking into the affairs of their children and be aware of how they treat others. There is a disconnect somewhere, that these boys thought it was ok to do this.

Katelyn's Big Day!!!!!

“Share everything. Play fair. Don’t hit people. Put things back where you found them. Clean up your own mess. Don’t take things that aren’t yours. Say you’re sorry when you hurt somebody. Wash your hands before you eat. Flush. Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you. Live a balanced life. Learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and play and work every day some.”

If you remember these rules, you've already won half the battle.

These were the words, from my little ones big day. Yes, we made it through Kinder, now on to bigger and better things. Although it started a little rocky, I must say my little one really did do well in kinder, all things considered. She loved her teacher, she met some good friend and some bad ones... another story for another time. But she really did adjust well which was really my concern. Hopefully in first grade I can be a little more involved, join PTO, volunteer for face painting and all that good stuff. Its just not enough hours in the day.

Hopefully all the kindergartners have a great summer and gear up for first grade. Don't forget to read over the summer.

Public Service Announcment

Do not mop your kitchen floor with this. I have mopped and remopped (word, I guess) a hundred times and still have a white chalky residue on my floor.. Geesh! The floor cant help but get clean after that kind of scrubbing.

Ding...You're free to move about the country.
