This week in review

Every one is talking about the Oprah-Barbara Walters interview. I must say, the interview in my opinion was one of the best that I've seen in a long time. Everyone has this image of the iconic Barbara Walters. Ms Walter has interview every President since Nixon and countless number of others. This week she appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show, expressing her side to issues that have happened on the set of the view and that she had in past chose not to address. So lets review:



Everyone remembers the surprise on Barbara's face when Star Jones announced live on the View that she had been fired. Apparently there was a agreement among Star and Barbara and Star about what they would tell the public, but Star decided that she would tell her version right there on the air . Hilarious.

Barbara stated that after her Gastric Bypass surgery, Star Jones became someone the audience no longer knew. Not only did her personality change but she asked that her co-host lie about her having the surgery. She attributed her weight loss to "portion control" and "Pilates". Oprah said, that's some Pilates. We knew better than that...didnt we?

Anyway, I think the biggest shocker for me the Barbara's admission to having a affair with the married Senator Edward Brooke, some thirty years ago. Not only did she admit that she had the affair but if you don't know, Sen. Brooke is African American. I know this sent some shock waves accross the world. Who would have ever known. Not keep in mind this was 1970, these kind of relationships were not encouraged or condoned.

What say you, is this information she should have shared or kept to her herself, it was 30 years ago. Did she consider the Senators family, he is still living. Did she admit to sell books or does she genueily want to humanize herself? What say you.....
